Shoot what works for you. It all goes back to the shooter. If you are not taking birds changing your choke won't help. I've seen more birds taken with fixed factory chokes than I have with the expensive screw in's.

    I was thinking that.

    IC/M.

Don't they still say not to use steel in full chokes? Are any of you using the Black Cloud mix with a full choke?

I shoot a light mod from Seminole Gun Works in my M1. I usually shoot 4's but tried some of the New Heavy Steel #6's and I like this combo a lot.

Why is skeet not an option?

A skeet choke and #7's is bad medicine in a wood duck hole.

This method is very under appreciated. I love a shoot like that. Lasts 12 minutes, shoot 4 times, kill 3 ducks, biscuits.

Geebus. What do you people search for to find these dead threads?

You fellows must not have seen the add by pattern master in the Dec./ Jan Wildfowl mag. 60 yards is the new 40 yards. Are you saying Patternmaster promotes skybusting?

I shoot a Carlson ext. Mod.

M in the under barrel and IM in the over barrel. The IM with small shot is great for cripples.

None of the above. I use .22 shorts out of my grandpas 552 speedmaster on the wing, don't matter if its 5 yards or 500 yards of they are dead

I shoot both mods and imp C. Two doubles have both barrels with mods on purpose, one double is choked mod and imp c. My main two autos have imp c in them.
