    Some people are good shots. Not me, mind you, but I have some friends that shoot full and extra full with no problem. They shoot to kill. Saves money on cripple shots. Its not skybustin if you are killin 'em.

    i am saying i used to kill them dead with a twenty gauge 2 and 3/4 steelies and a modified so if you got a decent pattern you should be able to do atleast that with a twelve gauge. unless they are way outside your decoys or they arre miles high.

    I am a shitty shot but a guy I hunt with shoots a Full with 3 1/2 inch shells and he is one of the best hunters I know, smallsac youve seen him shooten.

    It's been my experience that steel shot patterns better if you don't compress the shot charge as much... Steel doesn't react like lead when it goes through a choke tube. Lead is compressable - steel is not.

    I shoot IC at about anything. I've thought that a Light Modified (right between IC and Modified) would be a good choice as well.
