Garmin Mapsource

I am trying to run Garmin Mapsource to load TOPO maps to my GPS MAP 60CSx.

When I try to run Mapsource it states " Mapsource could not find any installed mapsource map products" and quits.

I have reinstalled mapsource and tried nearly everything.

Anyone have this problem before?

I had a problems with Mapsource and my unit over the years, but no problems like yours. Garmin support was quite helpful. They have talked me through problems and have emailed me unlock codes. I would give them a call... http://www.garmin.com/garmin/cms/sit...supportcontact

Got a response via email.. but still having problems. I downloaded Training Center as instructed to put a basemap on my computer that would allow Mapsource to run.

Still not working..

Dexter, have you tried another 60Csx or another version of the Mapsource? I have both if you need to try to pin it on one or the other.

I may take you up on that.. Was on phone with garmin today and was treated like i didn't know how to turn on my computer.

cu, i have the same unit and have loaded a couple of different mapsource products on it. i haven't had any problems with mine but i might be able to help you out a bit. PM me if you need some additional help and i might could help you pinpoint the problem to at least know what to ask garmin. let me know.
