    First day, yesterday was hot.

    2nd day is much colder.

    Warm front moved out ahead of the showers we had. Turned back cold after the rains. Suppose to be near 70 sometime next week.

    Warm weather generally moves out ahead of a band of rain (especially in summer). Basically the reason it's hot as heck on a summer day and then we have thunderstorms.. heat reflecting on earth

    That's why you'll generally see a thunderstorm kick up around large open areas, like large cutovers, dead sandhills, ocean, etc

    Probably a little more about thunderstorms than your original question but just food for thought...
