"Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs.

It don't matter what side you drive it on, but if you look at the design of the motor (looking at the motor from the front of the boat) the tiller arm will always be on the right side of the motor in order to give you more room to sit beside the motor while also allowing more room to spin the tiller arm to steer the boat.
Sit wherever you're comfortable....it is your boat bud!
Those sharp right hand turns are going to be difficult. You would also be able to face forward a little better if you had configured the seating the way the tiller handle is designed to operate. If you're comfortable running it this way that is what matters. Afterall it is your boat.

Is it very stable? I did my jon boat close to the same way with the pedestals and it seems a little tipsy with two guys sitting up that high.
