I'm a Clemson student and grew up in St. Louis, and lived there until I came to SC two years ago.

Archery season came in on 9/15 and deer rifle won't open up until mid-november when it will run for about 10 days. Lots of Army Corps public land up near Mark Twain Lake, and there are a few conservation areas within an hour of St. Louis that offer some decent bowhunting opportunity. If you don't bow hunt...your kind of out of luck until rifle deer season in november. Oh, there is a fall turkey season that usually runs Oct.1-Oct.30 that is either sex.

    Missouri is loaded.

Scout it out for me and I'll come when the pickings are good.

Does this mean you won't make the 9th?

If you ever get a chance to hunt ducks down in the boot heel you would be an idiot for not going.

The plan is to go and learn a position at a start up there, hire the person to run it, then, train them. It being a start up, I am sure that that month will extend to more...

The boot heel, I have my gaze lazered there...

With any luck you'll be there when ducks open.
