sat the bluff. got in nice and quiet...right at 6:10pm. wind was quartering, but i felt like the deer would come up the bluff from my right and down the trail right in front of me.
but i didnt see shit.
my dad was hunting with the rifle in gunter's neck (#6). he saw five deer and the biggest was by herself and right under my bow stand. oops.
another guy bow hunted in kill stand (#2) and saw nothing.
other guy rifle hunted and saw a few does.
i killed a couple of budweisers and had a nice dip on the way home, so all was not lost.
