My farmer spread it all over my fields earlier this year. His wheat looked like something out of Farm Digest. It was as pretty as any I've ever seen.......85 bu/acre.

Wish I lived closer and had a truck.

I've never used it before. How much would you put out per acre? I have soil tests but don't know how to convert them to turkey litter.

SW could tell you better, but I think it's close to 10-10-10.

On another note, I bought two 50 lb bags of 0-20-20 last week for $20.00 per bag.

Thanks CD. Yeah, I have fertilzer on hand but thought for $15/ton I may save it for next year's dove field and try the turkey litter in the food plots. I know I will have some grass and other stuff come up by using the litter but it still may work out cheaper in the long run.

we get an analysis of each "crop".
    usually 2-3 tons/ac
but if you havent fertilized much, you could prob put it out a little thicker.
