Palmetto Flats is a sleeper. Not much ambience in the restaurant but the bar is good. They have a pretty good chef; entrees are excellent and the "bar food" is real good. The only place that makes fried okra better than my momma.

Just got done eating at Palmetto Flats for lunch. Great food, incredible fries.

I'll try the okra next time I am there

Slow at work. Boss is gone. So I have enjoyed searching up all of these different recommendations.

I appreciate the suggestions, a few places came up a couple times from different people and that is nice to see.

Looks like I need a longer trip to get in all these places. Shame I can't catch a race while I'm out there as well.

Also heading into Edisto one day and gunna make the stop by King's.

I need to try that. The pecan chicken flatbread is a staple, the calamari is good when they have it, honestly haven’t had anything bad from there yet. Plus it’s right down the street.
