Dang, who took the footage of me leaving Winyah two weeks ago.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Saturday turned out to be an awesome weather day. Ended up with (4) bft's, (4) kings, (4) dolphin (in 68°), and (4) wahoo cut-offs.

Nice catch, Bart. I'm curious about these "wahoo cut-offs". How do you know they were wahoo and not kingfish?

Could've been kings for sure, although they all did that long initial run like wahoo do. Saying they were 'hoos is being hopeful.

Oh, and we lost one and the boat. His stripes were lit up, so I know it was a 'hoo.

Are we still keeping track of/scoring "knock downs"?

Seems like losing the boat would have made the front page.

    Prayers sent.

Heck of a fish to take down a boat. Meglahoo.

Fish check out the Broadway Bar and Grill if you’re still up there. Drank many a pint after long cold fishing trips out of there gillnetting for Monkfish in the 90s.

Here's your rad lingo lesson of the day.

A cut-off is when a fish bites the bait off behind the hook and you usually don't know the bait is cut-off until you check the bait.

A hook-up is when the fish bites the bait, gets hooked, runs, jumps, etc.

A [U]pulled hook[U] is when the line on a hooked-up fish suddenly isn't tight anymore.

How those four fish pulled off would be a topic of concern for me.

Thanks for educating us peons Daniel Webster. However, Bart never said they had four "pull offs".

Noted. So what is it called when they shred the leader with their sharp fish teeth?
