    It’s a manufacturing debris issue from the supplier of the crankshafts.

    On the topic of oil changes, these direct injection engines by nature introduce more fuel into the oil than non-direct injection. Pull your dipstick and give a quick sniff, it will smell like gas. This coupled with the recommendation of 0w-20 for “efficiency” is a recipe for long term bearing issues. Change that oil at 5k, and IMO is run 5w-30 regardless of the 0-20 spec
