    Default Pressure washer/ welding help

Got a Simpson pressure washer with a Honda engine. Let a buddy use it and he left water in it outside in winter time (my fault for lending it to him). It starts up and works fine, psi is obviously way down. Is that something that can be welded back ? About a two inch hairline crack on the pump . Thanks,

    Sean

No hope to weld. The Pump is on Amazon/Online for under $50.00 usually.

the heat from the welding would cook every seal in the pump

The pumps I've seen are cast, no way to weld.

Stuff a rag in the crack and roll on.

This is the reason I didn't lend stuff with a plug or pull cord

Ralph- you know him. He’s a nice guy but when he filled the pressure washer up with gas from a can that I put a giant “2” on it with a sharpie- I should have stopped the transaction then . Again, 100% my fault.
