My wife was in traffic at the scene, and a responding officer actually bumped her car splitting traffic at a red light. She saw the dead guy pulled from his car and called me to see what I could find out. Follow social media since the incident, looks like the off duty officer is in for a long vacation.

Yeah I saw a video where the off duty pretty much repeatedly engaged a much bigger guy who was backing away. Reports from witnesses said off duty retreated to his car and returned a weapon. As bigger guy was driving away off duty lunged into window and shot the guy. Dead guy is son of long time police officer and by all accounts was a stand up dude with immense respect for leo. Terrible for all involved. All over a chic fil a parking spot.
