Just like the Mississippi River, man tamed it and ruined everything else. Oil and gas ditched and leveed the river into the Gulf marsh. Ditch, dredge and drain FL.....sounds similar to what's happening in the Prairie Pothole Region with tiling.
Man just sucks.
