    Default Waiting…

Looks like a good start for some! Got a treat this am. Drinking some coffee looking out the living room window and noticed some birds on the field. When it was all said and done counted 13 birds and of the 13 only 4 hens. Pulled up some stools and my wife, son, daughter and I all watched for about 30 minutes as the guys strutted and chased one another. Good show to watch while sipping some coffee!

In duck hunting the scene is as important as the shooting.” ~ Erwin Bauer, The Duck Hunter’s Bible, 1965

In the end 3 of the younger birds ganged up chasing the larger birds away.
