Heard this guy and his buddy at gray light WAY off, so I hurried to get close ish to them daylight broke and silence, I was worried that they possibly saw me trying to cut the distance. Set up called a few times and nothing,, got impatient and slipped around onto a fresh logging deck that over looked at 60 ac fresh cutover and heard a hen making a fuss, few seconds later the two I heard earlier sounded off behind her and they pop out strutting . I managed to piss the hen off enough that she brought them close . They eventually broke off of her and coming running like two little raptors. No decoys, just two fired up 2yr old rock stars. Fun morning

Heck yeah. Hunting fresh cutovers is tough if you're not set up in the right place before dawn. Good work.
