    Default Morels

    I have a few large tracts of land where morels could probably be found. I'm willing to offer it to a scavenger to hunt in exchange for enough for a meal or two. I know nothing about finding them. I got hardwood bottoms on a river as well as creeks. No guns allowed. I know a back door turkey hunt when I see it. This post has nothing to do with passion. I just want some morels for dinner.

    I was raised hunting morels. Do you think you have them on the RnR?

    Saluda river. Newberry line. Two different tracts. Hollywood area of Saluda as well. Creek bottoms bordering cow pastures. Also a timber tract with creek bottoms on the Johnston side of Saluda.

    Hmmmm, lotta judgin’ going on in here.

    Go hunt those bottoms when the time is right and just look. Once you see the first one the others will start popping up everywhere, lol.

    I've found alot of morels in the SNF, actually bought a permit to collect them for a few years. havent been in awhile, might need to go again. Turkey season was when I found them and like was already said once you get your eyes to notice them you will be looking at the ground all the time for them.
