Anyone on here ever freelanced for grouse in Nova Scotia?

Going back to moose hunt in NF this year. Considering bringing the dog and hitting up Nova Scotia and Maine on the way back. I’ve hunted Maine, driven through NS but didn’t hunt when I did.

No. But it’s on my list. I’d like to do it before my older dog gets too old. Woodcock and Grouse. Holler if you plan it, I’d go.

I’m definitely going. Booked for moose, got the owner’s blessing to bring the dog (hunted with them a while back) and I’m driving. Planning on shooting some grouse in NF if I get a moose and have days to spare. I’ll be going through NS regardless. Haven’t been able to find much out about hunting crown land without a guide as an American, but haven’t looked too hard yet.
