    So in summary, there are no new trucks today that area reliable.

    I have decided that, from now on, I'm going to buy a new vehicle and get a 100k bumper-to-bumper warranty. Sell or trade when it hits 100k. Takes me 5 or 6 years to reach that milage.
    Crops are harvested, animals are killed.

    I didn’t reference any particular brand, but minimal homework will lead folks to the right place. That goes for auto mechanics or service contract providers.

    You aren’t wrong to think that way. It takes me 30-36 months to get there.

    I'd find me one that won't shut off at a stop light and has a real key.

    Make sure you get two keys, Toyota getting bad about giving just one key after you pay them.
