    The turkey hat was a hit….turned heads everywhere it went. Couldn’t wear it the last day due to the number of people…could not stop and have a conversation with anyone due to everyone wanting pictures. This is only a 60 second clip of the reactions…have a lot more

    Ended up getting best standing bird in the taxidermy competition and missed gettting best of show in masters by 1 point….(I had a 92 guy that won got a 93)
    But got a big ass trophy and $200 (so that covered one meal at the hotel for the family) but better than nothing

    On a side note I thought the lot of yall on this site were some ruthless individuals. Do yourself a favor and go read the comments from my reel, talking about what to do with a turkey to get it ready for the taxidermist on NWTFs Instagram page. Them MF are ruthless…

    Congrats Hunter. Multiple people told me they thought you had the best bird there, and that is an elegant mount. Apparently there was a jungle bird that was pretty sporty. Glad it was a good trip.
