    Default Fun hunt

Had a good hunt this morning. Was not sure what to expect. We hunted this spot earlier in the year and shot a good number of green wings. Either the front brought some more down or they held in place. Gadwall came in alone and was the nail in the coffin of the limit. We were out by 8 am. Buddy killed 6 green wings and I killed 5 with the gadwall. Not sure I get out before the end of the season again but if not this was a good last hunt for the year.

In deed with a bonus fisheaterlawndart hen! I’m seeing LOTS of new birds over the last week. I just can’t hunt anywhere I’m seeing them! Nice work!

She tricked me. A flock came down in low light and she bombed the decoys just like the teal were doing. Was surprised when I walked out to get, lol.

They have a tendency to do that. I give them 3 strikes. The third time I pull up on one a let it fly.

That's a good rule, that's kinda how I deal with ruddy's. lol. Maybe I'd dump one on a really slow day (and pray the dog would eat it)

Beautiful limit I would take that one any day of the week.

Excellent. Those teal would look good roasting on the grill...
