    Default Tablet

Who walks around with one and uses it daily? I'm thinking about getting one, I'm use to Apple on for my phone and a regular old PC in the office. Which platform is going to be easier for me to adjust to in a mobile device? Does the Apple IOS run Microsoft Office the same way a PC does or will it have some weird Apple traits to it?
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I have an iPad. Works fine for me.

What’re you going to use it for us the main question?

I've had a few "nice" Android OS tablets, but always revert back to my trusty Lenovo laptop(s). You know -- the ones where the screen folds all the way backwards and turns it into a tablet...

A tablet, for me, has always been a novelty item. I can see where it would be beneficial for you, and your business; however -- for what I assume you want it for, I'd just get a tablet PC and be done with it. Use it like a computer when you want, or fold it over & have clients sign with their finger when needed.

Pictures, emails, notes, lists, spreadsheets, estimates, etc. Want something I can use for e-books too.

I run two insurance agencies from an IPhone and an IPad. It will do what you need

As stated, an iPad will do all you need. An Office 365 subscription will allow you to use all of the Microsoft Suite products and give you 1TB of cloud storage.

If you use Microsoft Office, the Surface Pro would get my vote...if it's not neccessary to run MS Office, stick with your Apple products.

I have both an iPad and surface pro. If you are already used to Microsoft products the surface is great. I have a Verizon card on mine, so I can look into my company’s server remotely, etc.

iPad. I've been using them since they first came out. Last year I got a 12 pro. It's great. Running Microsoft no problem.

As others have stated, I would go iPad since you have an iPhone. An iPad will run all of the Microsoft office programs. I run excel, PowerPoint, word and onedrive(Microsoft’s cloud) on my iPad and iPhone. I would get an Apple Pencil as well. To easy to hand write then switch it over to text when you are in the go.

I have a Surface and an iPad. I prefer the surface for what you describe.
