    Default First Buck

My 6yr old son was able to finally seal the deal on his first buck. He killed a doe earlier in the season and then whiffed twice on a smaller buck. He was determined to make it happen and he was beyond excited when it all came together. His twin sister was with us when it all went down as well and was jumping up and down in the stand with excitement after the shot. He made a fantastic shot and the buck didn’t make it 75yds. Now that he has accomplished his goals of first deer and first buck, he is in full longbeard mode! I had a fellow club member tell me a few months ago “enjoy the time in the stand with your kids, because before long they will be grown up and you will be sitting alone again”. I have taken those words to heart and we sure do enjoy our times together.

    Thats very cool
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

Awesome. I'm fortunate as my 19yo daughter still likes to sit with Dad.
