    Default Ditchbank mower question

I can pick up an old Hardee-360 CO for a good deal. I want to use it to essentially trim lanes, keep roads open, etc. That not really germane to the question though. My question is whether anyone can point me to a resource that can tell me the minimum horsepower requirements for this mower. I can't find it anywhere. Or maybe you're just smart and know the answer. I have a 75hp tractor- want to make sure it will be adequate. Thanks, CC

Should be, but I’d give Hardee a call and ask.

    53 hp for a 48 inch cutter.
A 75 hp should be good.

This is from the Hardee site

They people at Hardee are great to work with if you do buy it. They were extremely helpful a couple of years ago when I had to change all of the hoses on one we have at the farm that's probably 35+ years old.

Good info tigerbog. This one has some age on it and I wouldn’t be surprised if we have to replace some hoses as a minimum. Thanks

Ditch Bank Mowers would be a good name for a Brazilian waxing joint.

Ha! I think several old dudes did. Glad they're better at it than me.
