Fried oysters and deviled crab are my go to when I eat out for seafood. I eat plenty of fish at the house. Those look good even for a cock fan.

Hog heaven BBQ in Pawleys Island has AYCE clusters for 27.00. For the prices they asking for a bushel, can't beat that with a stick and let them clean up the mess.

Everything else they offer is garbage drenched in vinegar.

Yeah, the BBQ is not my favorite, but the other stuff(fried chicken and sides) on the lunch buffet are pretty good. IMO, it's worth the coin for lunch.

Any cooked oyster is a waste in my opinion however i will have to learn better as i am not allowed to eat them raw any more. It is a shame as fresh oysters on the shell is one of the great pleasures of life.

You lose the high ground in any argument about weird foods that other cultures eat as soon as you admit you eat oysters. I like them but it's hard to defend. Filter feeders from the muddy marsh that look like boogers.

I never cared for oysters cooked any way other than well-cooked roasted ones until a caterer at one or our monthly shoots had some fried oysters that were absolutely fantastic. Not heavily breaded and really fresh oysters. They changed my opinion on the first bite.

One of the first raw oysters I ever ate was from a cluster my dad reeled in while trout fishing one cold-ass winter day. I popped it in my mouth and it tasted like straight diesel fuel. We rounded the next bend in the creek, there was a sign warning not to eat any shellfish from the area.

Probably has the gouch. It's a curse; I stand with you, Centurian.
