With the proximity to Chicora Wood, I would be planting Swamp Timothy in a couple of fields, which is one of the favorite foods of pintails and teal. I wouldn't think they would roost in it.

Millet fields with a thousand teal aren’t exactly rare in SC.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
