Cost of Deck rebuild

Anyone have a ballpark estimate for a 8'x40' deck rebuild? Existing deck is over a freshwater canal. Cost would include tear out of old deck and replacement with marine grade lumber.

Solid truth. Figure there is $3-5k in wood. Heck of a labor rate if cost is really $18k

Check pilings well. Could still be some rot under water. If pilings are actually good and where you want them, that could be a DIY job over a few weekends depending on your schedule.

When ours was being built 2 years ago, it was running about $1000 a foot. That was everything turn key, wiring, pilings the whole 9 yards plus a dock that can be lowered and raised via a remote control or a switch. I would imagine with some of those items already there and in serviceable shape, prob $500 a foot. Our dock was almost 70' long, simple math for final price.
