Default Smoked Salmon - Old Electric Smoker Recipe?

Crunched for time and need to smoke a piece of salmon for an event this weekend. I have never smoked one. I have an old electric smoker I want to use for ease. Anyone have any experience or recipe. Cook temp, time, wood, seasoning? Looks pretty simple on YouTube but want to check with the SCDucks group. Thanks

I dont really think you can mess it up. Cedar plank and magic salmon seasoning

This is the one I use. Super easy and doesn't take long. No complaints and none ever leftover. The brining and a sprinkle of brown sugar at the end make the difference.

    Don't overcook it

If you really want the take the easy way, pick up a package of this:

This stuff is really good. One of the guys in my clays club makes a dip out of it that is fantastic.

Holler at Adamb. He made some salmon rolls that looked spectacular. Check the "Best Food Pics" thread.

...but you need whole fillets, not steaks.

Looks like Sprouts in Simpsoville has it. If they have Lowes Food might as well.

I get it at Harris Teeter in the butcher section. I think my wife found it a Publix too.
