2-4 d can kill centipede. Triclopyr is the active ingredient in trimec. You will also need a surfactant.

Yes, I wouldn't spray 2,4D during the summer. It will vaporize and drift to kill shrubs and bushes in your neighbors yards a block away.

Thanks for the replies. Just wanted to be sure the usual yard treatment will handle. Wasnt familiar with that one, it came in some new sod this year..
