My brother just got a truck to his house (9 yards) for an addition and a small slab. Ran him $1900. This is in GA so it may be different in SC

I budget $175/yd delivered on my bids.
After taxes and whatnot I can usually get it delivered for $165/yd.

So if my math is correct, if my guy is charging $4.50/sq ft for my slab that’s 4” thick it comes out to be $364.50/ cubic yard finished………
This interesting. The last time I had concrete poured (twenty years ago), they told me that they charged to work the concrete the same per year as the concrete cost delivered. I thought, well there is no incentive to negotiate the price of the concrete if that is the case. Seems like, by your math, that is still the case. MG

Had a roughly 48x35 ft 2 inch pad laid within last 6 mos and if I recall correctly it cost me 5k start to finish with maybe 10-15yds of dirt included.

Yep if you can get it delivered it’s around 225 cuyd here in Savannah. That’s the truck that mixes on site.
I wouldn’t pour anything less than 4” thick but that’s just me.
I paid $190 per yard for grading/framing/pouring/finishing back in February. I am in Simpsonville.
Just got notice this AM that fuel surcharges are going up, mud is going up and minimum haul charges are going up.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

A month ago I paid 168.00 a yard for 75.5 yards. $ 3.00 a sgft for the concrete man. 4560 sgft.
3-1/2 at the turn downs, them boys gonna crown the dirt and make enough to get their insurance reinstated.
