My son's buck today on top of the box. His FIL killed the one on the tailgate.

My son hunts hard and smart. This is his truck on the dog drive today. Buck ran right up to him and never knew what hit him.

Holy Moses… I’ve only seen one as large one time. They don’t grow that wide up in this immediate area.

Smart move on the truck blind. Add a coffee pot and an easy chair and he could sit all day.

Do you know my son and his FIL? I only ask because I'm very proud of both of them as men and deer hunters.
Those two guys hunt hard and it pays off.
FIL and his family have a long history in the woods and water. My son's wife was raised up in it and is very accommodating to the amount of time they spend outdoors.
In addition to the hunt club my son has secured hunting rights on several 30 acre tracts that hold a few nice bucks.
Here's a few pics on our hit list on the smaller tracts.

Thank you for the comment. I hear that from a lot folks. He probably gets the "goodness" from his mama.
Very proud of him and that's why I started this thread.
