    how are the stripers on wateree? Are they as good as murray for topwater etc?

    No. Not even close. The top water bite used to be good. Some people believe that a lot of the population got washed over the damn a few years back. There was a good 5-6ft of water flowin over. Two years ago however they released something like 500,000 fingerlings.

    thanks for the info. Looking at lake property but i figured it didnt hold a candle to murray.

    The stripers are making a good comeback on wateree. not the numbers OR size compared to murray. you will catch those 12-15" on wateree compared to those 25-30"on Murray.
