Looks like the bite has finally started to pick up a bit. Have ya'll gotten any water flowing yet?

We got a decent rain last week Shelben and the bite turned on pretty good. The cool snap we got this weekend hurt a little, but this weekend should be just right..
When are you coming down???

SC, the lack of water in the Wateree River has hurt us in the rockfish department this year. We have caught fish, but nothing like we are used to catching this time of year.

Last year there was plenty of water and we wore them out.

Yeah the Wateree has been pitifully low so far. Almost as bad as the big drought water levels of the 90's. On the plus side I can plant some great duck holes that I haven't been able to do anything with in years...

Not real sure. I just got back from Vegas yesterday and left most of my money there for my wife when she goes in September. I am going to try to swing a quick trip down there in a couple few weeks if I can get caught up on my honey-do list around the house and rebuild by mad-money fund a bit.
