I'd argue that the actor perfectly captures the weirdness of Lee Child's character. He isn't a bad actor trying to be Tom Cruise's "perfect American"...

    i enjoyed it.

I have a low bar on acting skills on amazon/netflix original series.

There were several times that were unrealistic just as in any series. They had him dead to rights a few times that he would have been shot in the face in real life. They killed everyone in their paths, but let the ONE guy that was screwing up their deal go...time and time again.

I will watch a second season, if their is one.

The guy playing Reacher actually nails the way Lee Child set the character up in the books, the supporting cast isn't that great though.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

    I'm about halfway through.

The number of bodies, including federal agents, without any sort of response from the Feds is way beyond reasonable.
All series have that problem, I guess.

    The fight scenes are great.

Finished it up last night. Not great acting but I thought it was pretty entertaining. Like someone else said its Prime or Netflix original so I don't expect much. I would also suggest "Nobody " which is on HBO Max right now. Get past the first 15 mins or so and I think you guys will like it.

Oh yeah you know me... Just over here starting fires with $100 dollar bills. Movie is basically about an ex CIA guy that has retired, married and raising a family. He comes across as kind of a wuss to start. Some folks break into his house and he does nothing to them while his son gets hurt. This basically flips the switch and leads down a road of him killing about 100 Russian mobsters. It aint going to win an Oscar but the dark humor is good and the the people that came up with how all these guys get killed was pretty damn creative.

Agree, "Nobody" is a great flick. Definitely recommend watching it. I Redbox'ed it at the river house and when it came up for sale I bought a copy for $2.

When I stated it got to "unrealistic" with all the killings, my wife informed me I say that about all of the shows I watch.
Need another good series to watch, I used the search function on here several weeks ago and everything y'all recommend years ago was gone on Netflix.
