excellent story and effort in sharing it.
When they communicate shot distance to you, do they tell you meters or yards?

I do not know him or anything about him other than (as I stated already) he posts some really cool hunting adventures.
Some people on the site obviously know him but I do not.
A question was asked as to why he isn't involved in SCDucks beyond his posting his stories.
He's either doing to thump his chest, or as he pretty clearly stated he loves journalism which I can respect.
Nowhere in my statements did I discourage his posting.....carry on.

474e6b88-5bb3-483a-b540-24222fdb253b_thumb.jpg did you see these guys on the road to Dushanbe? You know, the decoys, the other GLG20's?
    Just kidding, great write up.

Judging by the menu that was listed, I bet a pot of grits would have been a welcome change.

Amazing story. They burn wood from those skinny trees to heat the building?

SDcourtnay….that is a really cool story and hunt but it’s want to know about your mental reservations and feelings of safety during this trip. Call me what you want, I would never even contemplate this for fear of being locked up abroad, taken hostage, murdered, etc. Did you take your own rifle or did they provide you with one. Going through a military checkpoint, I would have shit myself being an American over there! I want to know more of how you set this trip us, vetted the guides, etc. Did someone you know and trust set you up? Ain’t no way in hell I’d do it but good job! I personally think you are lucky to be back in the US of A!

    Yep.

Amazing scenery. I bet those guides are tough as nails. Did you feel safe the whole time? I lump all of the middle east and the 'stans into one, so I'm sure it's not accurate that everywhere is dangerous. Thanks for posting.
