Peddler and fancy steakhouse don’t belong in the same sentence.

One of my favorite restaurants is A) not open to the public B) has a salad bar C) has absolutely anything you care to drink at any given time and will hands down beat any meal anywhere else on the East Coast!

Moral of the story- don’t hate on a salad bar!

A South of the Border salad bar restaurant just screams fancy.

Oh, I'm a member of a private dining club that is now relaxed enough as where I don't have to wear a sports coat dining on the patio.. they have a buffet at times, it's pretty jam up. I mostly order to go though, because I've socialized enough..

It’s like taking a step back in time. You’d have to have grown up around the SOB to really appreciate the decor.

I like to take a girl out on a fancy date at peddler SOB then go up in the top hat and enjoy the view

Is it allowed to cut a steak with your pocket knife at a fancy steak house?

My wife bought me a Laguiole folding steak knife so I wouldn't pull out a Benchmade auto at Lewnes here in Annapolis.

Elevator got stuck first time I ever went up as a kid. Surprising it still is open.

$170? My wife and I eat there often and get out of there for $70-80 each time.

CantCareBS, the food wasn't bad, but my personal opinion is that it wasn't worth $170. I'm not a fancy restaurant connoisseur, so maybe that's normal.

Yep. The salad bar is worth the trip alone. I really enjoy the atmosphere as well.

And just so I don't disappoint HS anymore than I may already have, talking up the salad bar... I stay away from the pork loin. Its a ribeye, every time.
