Can you stomach the red? I was cutting the grass the other evening and my youngest came out and asked if I wanted something to drink. I said sure buddy bring me something. He came back with some pineapple flavored Mt dew. I laughed and said thanks. It was tolerable but I think I’d pass on a second.

Friend of mine went west with me last year and he has me in the habit of stacking a case of water in the fridge and doing half in a crystal light while loading it. I like that LMNT that JAB and Glenn put me on too. It is good stuff in the heat.

ETA: I drink over 150 ounces of water daily. Plain water gets boring.

Simple is all I do for any red meat

    I like my tenderloins/backstraps whole.

Coat with olive oil and use mixture of kosher salt/course ground pepper (Aaron Franklin mix basically )

    wrap with thick sliced bacon

Grill to med rare, turning to make sure bacon is done

    LET IT REST and slice.

Wife and I like red meat Med Rare/Rare. (only way I cook red meat )

Sorry i mentioned bacon, I use the thin cheap stuff. Thick stuff takes to long to cook, leading to over cooked meat.

He did ask for simple, not chanterelles in butter cream sauce

Chanterelles in butter cream is about as simple as it gets.
