for future reference, i wouldnt use any 2d decoys in that small of field. small groups should come in to little or no calling at all. as for 50 at a time, try and sound like multiple geese calling lightly to moderately. big groups land where they want so take your shots when they come in range the first time.

Geese are also very "protective" of their food sources. Fast, aggressive calling is a sign of a good food source and the desire to keep it to themselves.

I would use 2 or 3 full body dekes just to give the birds something to look at and be sure to get upwind of where the birds typically land.

One other thing is how big a profile did the two of you have after covering yourself with the p-nuts?
