Smart man and comes across as very reasonable. If there was some wide spread conspiracy going on they should be feeling some pressure. I don't think that has anything to do with this bogus impeachment though. I think the Democrats are trying to find a way out of the conundrum they are in now that they realize removal from office will die swiftly in the Senate.
