My family has always had great luck with Chevys with 3 trucks having 336k, 280k and 240k miles and still going strong so I gave GM another chance and bought a 2018 z71 a couple months ago. If this thing starts giving me issues I’ll trade it on a tundra and not look back. My new one gets about 14 mpg around town and 18 mpg on the highway with 34s and afm disabled. So gas mileage isn’t any better than a tundra and I drive like a grandpa. It does ride good though.

If you use your truck for a truck and not a grocery getter- the Ram will be a pile of junk at 200k and the Ford will be just broke in. I own a small fleet of trucks and won't touch a Dodge unless it's a heavy duty. Even those eat dashboards and transmissions.
I have tried them all and keep going strong with the Fords. If used as a truck long term Ford or Tundra only in a half ton

Nope you have to calculate in for the transmission replacement at 50,000 and for 2 new dash replacements at 35k and 75k.

I’ll be upgrading my 2006 tundra to a newer one soon.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my 2015 F150 5.0. No issues for me and the truck now has 130,000 miles on it. When it had stock tires I was getting 19.5mpg mixed driving and 23mpg on the highway. Don't do much around town driving so not sure what it was getting there. It now has 34" BFG KO2s and Bilstein 5100 self leveling shocks courtesy of KRT. It gets about 18mpg mixed driving and still get's 20.5mpg on the highway.

My next truck will be another F150 5.0 but with a crew cab instead of the extended cab that I have now. Will likely get a 2020 next summer when the Coast Guard transfers me again.
Living in Moncks Corner but looking forward to moving back to the West Coast in 2020 where there are more ducks and less duck hunters!! LOL

Got a ‘17 F250 Platinum I’m going to sell when the 2020’s come out. This short bed sucks, going to get a F350 SRW LWB in the same thing. Back seat’s been sat in though.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I thought you were going to say it was like sitting on a sofa that your weird assed neighbor found on the street, covered in vomit.

Stick with the tundra, if you get the ford you won’t be able to climb that tower of fire on your drive to work or get your space shuttle to the ramp on the weekends.

I intended to test drive a TRD Pro and a King Ranch this afternoon.

I never made it to the King Ranch.

I'm gonna sleep on the TRD. If I still feel the same in the morning I'll go pick it up.
