And installing that quick release plate on the KW DC is a pain in the arse. I actually turned minw around and re-drill new mounting holes in the TM mounting plate to make mine fit better. You will need go go gadget arms, luck and a prayer. Buy a few extra washers and nuts. Some will undoubtedly fall through the anchor storage never to be seen again. I also backed my quick mount with a piece of starboard as well.
Edit...when I say "fit better", I mean more clearance off the front of the bow. Which also allowed me to get all the mounting bolts on the puck through the boat. Mounting it the standard way you'll have one or two mounting holes hanging off the bow not doing you any good and that's a lot of thrust for only two small bolts.

@reeltight,
How much wire did you need/use for the project?

Sorry...just now seeing this. I used 10ft red and 10ft black 8awg. But didn’t you tell me you boat is already wired? Oh yeah, you’ll need to mount your heading sensor. Mine is mounted in front of the driver windshield by the cup holder. There’s a little curved shape it fits good in and ties in easily to the switch box. I have this on a constant power. If the switch is on it’s pulling power. It’s such a little draw you’ll never notice.
Here are some pics we discussed today

I got the TM, mount, wires, fuse etc. I'm heading to Moncks Corner over the weekend to do the install. I don't completely remember whether the boat is already wired or not but I did find this picture that shows what looks like a Minn Kota mount. I expect that it won't work with the Terrova but I hope I can take some advantage of what's already there and holes that are already drilled.

You are going to need to mount the puck for the Terrova closer to the edge of the boat than that mount that is on there.
I would use those mounting holes to install a 3/4 inch piece of starboard that extends to the bow-- then attach the puck the starboard.
That will allow you to avoid drilling new holes. Good luck.
Interesting. It looks like you had a TM but now plug? Do you by chance have a TM plug in the anchor locker? I wish I would have thought about that.
If you do have to run wires, there's a wire tunnel on the port side of the boat that runs from the anchor locker to the port side console. It' s like a 1" PVC pipe. I fished it with thick weedeater string but a real fishing wire would be extremely helpful.
BTW - does your anchor locker open to the side like mine? I've always wondered why they did that.

Install an on board battery charger if you don’t have one in that console.

Pro Sport 20, 3 bank...I mean there are other options but yeah, that's what it's down to.
2 for the TM and one for the house.
Fishing the wire to the back for the house battery is super fun.
Rhodan. None better.
Go with Rhodan, thank me later...
