I can't sell guns, they're just to personal after I kill something with them. Mine has been sitting for years, I do love it. I think the only to older guns I pick up are two Wingmasters, a mid 60's that I had redone at Darlington and a Wingmaster magnum, with a 30 inch full. I swear I carried that thing to a turkey shoot once a year for 25 years and always win one of the few shoots. Then I carry it turkey hunting once or twice a year, if I end up going twice.

Some were, others were built on a smaller frame.

No. If you can find one in good condition, go for it. Check gun broker for ideas.

I'd like a Montefeltro myself. But then you want a gas system.

Damn. I just priced an 1100 on Remington's site. Wow. They are proud of those guns now. I do like an 1100 though. But damn.

Another vote for the A400. One of the sweetest shooting guns I own.

Think I'm going with the Beretta, but for giggles I searched the 1100 on gunbroker. If you think the 20's are pricey take a look at the .410's. Holy smokes.

I don’t think that anyone has mentioned the SX3, but they are nice. Recoil is very light and they are easy to clean. They do tend to shoot a bit high though. Mine weighs 6 pounds 12 oz. It is my main quail gun. The stocks are also adjustable. Like many guns the receiver is a bit long so a 26 inch barrel gun is similar to a 28 inch barrel 870.

If it ain\'t accurate at long distance, then the fact that it is flat shooting is meaningless.

I had an 1100 light 20, sweet shooting gun but shells got hung up in the magazine tube. I vote the a400. My cousin has one and it’s nice as hell.

I’ve got an 1100 LT I’ve had since about 1980. Other than an occasional cleaning and an O ring every 4-5 years it runs like a top. I’ve also got an 11-87 Premier 20 I’ve had for 20 or so years that is the same. Run decent shells and clean them occasionally and they will run reliably.

Yes, I believe some were made on 12 gauge frames, but they also made an LT20 on a lighter frame. The LT20 is the way to go if you want Remington.

Lt20s and 20 gauge 11-87s are on the small frame.

All I shoot are Benelli shotguns...

However, the A400 in 20 is something of sexual desire..

It's soft, and sweet, and the gas refuses to generate recoil..

I love my Auto-5 Light 20 and would get him one if I thought for a second he would shoot it. He has changed shotguns twice in his roughly +\-70 years of hunting. From a 1920's Model 12 to the current Browning Gold Classic he's shot for 20 years, both in 12 gauge. He just can't handle the 12 like he used to. He won't admit that and will complain that we spent to much money on it, but I'm gonna get the A400. Guns to him are a tool and that new one will be beat to shit in less than season, but I'm good with that.

    Thanks,
    Mike
