    Default 300 Holland & Holland

    Just started loading for one. If you have loaded this caliber, what worked well for you? 4350 and 4831 powders look to be the standards for this round along with a 180gr bullet.

    Cool cartridge. You might want to try RL 22 as well.

    I have a pre 64 Mod 70 300 H&H Bullgun which factory made for 1000 yard shooting with 28" heavy barrel. I would not go heavier than 175 gr. Sierra MK bullets as heavy bullets and slow propellant eats barrels for breakfast.

    Vihta Vouri should give you best barrel life as it burns cooler.

    Do not use ball propellant as most of it eats barrels for breakfast as well.

    H,4350 and a 180 grn nosler partition and go kill stuff
    Reloaders love a good piece of brass<br />Not only did Samuel colt make all men equal.....He also made it easier for me to sleep well at <br />night
