All of the who-did-what wrong, how could it have ended differently scenarios aside, is trespassing an arrestable offense? I always thought it was a ticket and a fine.

Edit: I'm not sure how I quoted duck cutter's post. It's been a long day.

I would submit that trespassing warrants the death penalty...

Sounds like it was more of a border disputes by neighbors. What ever happened to the tried and true Hatfield and McCoy solution?
The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.

Nope. He had a gun on his side, and I didn't. I wasn't about to get in an argument with someone that I didn't know, and didn't know me, in that situation.

Why? That seems pretty reasonable to me.

I can support this if the landowner challenges the tresspasser in the act. Find them dead on your land then it's an open and shut case.

However if the offended feels the need to keep his mouth shut and later file a warrant with the police instead, then the accused should be able to challenge them to a public dual.

I guess cops can't be too careful, especially in today's world. If I were in fuzzy a situations I would have complied without hesitation but I would probably be left wondering about the officers ability to deal with people. Especially When I think of how often DNR deals with armed people and how calm and relaxed they generally are when doing so, it makes me thinks a cop asking you to leave your pocketknife in the car while you get out to look at a blown headlamp is a little excessive.

DNR deals with a better element of society most of the time.

I would further submit that neck tats also warrant the death penalty...

Well, I did reside in the Mars Bluff area for a few years. Maybe some of that radiation seeped into my drinking water.

Cops were polite as hell. He didn't do what they politely asked him to do.
