I saw that last night. If the ducks start glowing in the dark, it opens up all sorts of possibilities...

I am on another forum and had seen guys talk about hunting near a nuclear plant like this and they started to post pictures of ducks with 3 legs (all 3 were banded) and some with nails like a wood duck but were not woodies!

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

Meanwhile coal plants spill fly ash with uranium and thorium concentrations without the first news article or publicity of an incident.

When I did nuclear work at the shipyard, most deer hunters or people who ate a lot of deer meat would set off the alarm of the automated scanner when exiting a contamination controlled area. Deer meat eaters had enough Cesium 137 in their system to trip the alarm. We were told it is naturally occurring and the deer get a lot of it from eating acorns.
