    Default Getting done

    Getting it done before church.

Put in at Wilton Bluff and ventured out on the Edisto this morning. Glad it was low tied because there are some things I saw that were worthy of mental notes that I would have slammed into had it been mid-tied or so.

We were just messing and exploring but to my boys we were there to catch a fish. Knowing that we had to be back in time for church I didn’t put much stock into it as I’d never been on that part of the river. Anywho, we fished this spot and that spot and everywhere I thought looked fishy. Struck out. As it came time to go; for the second time in my life I’ve witnessed my 8 year old get on his knees, fold his hands, bow his head and pray. You can probably guess what happened next...I mean, within a minute. And just as we turned him lose the alarm went off signaling it was time to head to the landing. My 5 year old was a little sad but my 8 year old is still on cloud nine.

Riverside or Lakeside Baptist is a fine way to raise a youngin! Better than Bedside Baptist any day!!!

I hate that our offspring are all grown and gone. Don't blink brother!
Listen to your elders. Not because they are always right but because they have more experiences of being wrong.

Awesome! You can wear out the Jimmys this time of year up there too. If you like catching/eating crabs.
