Keep this in mind I use to think the same thing. However after doing some research into antler growth, I found that’s not always the case. I found that some deer grow most of their antlers before the middle of July and then production drops off. Others don’t grow very much and then put on the inches after july 15. I was kinda surprised when I learned that. However those are some great deer no doubt. Just food for thought.

I would agree with most of that but I’ve also read where they put on the most mass in that last 2weeks of growing. I’d say the tall 8 is just about done mabe a few more inches on his g2s and 3s. My first thought when I pulled the camera was what else can you put on in the next month.

I think 120 Days is the number for them. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong. But of course you can’t count those days exact because you don’t know what deer are what when they first start growing.

We are up to a month difference between deer starting. I just started the feeders today and put the cameras out. Some of the others have been running cameras already and have good ones also.

    Some good deer there also.

Was looking through some old pics from last season and I’m almost 98% sure this was him a year ago.
