    Default Suggestions for tractor purchase

Looking to purchase a 50-60hp 4x4 tractor with front end loader, to replace my jd 2355 2wd.
With all the available brands and options it’s difficult to make a decision. . Will be discing , planting , cutting etc. Some of the questions I have are ; Should I get a turbocharged engine? What transmission? Ag tires vs industrial tires ? Any dealers to steer away from or any recommendations on them would be helpful also . Thanks in advance .

I think your hp is good then. People like orange. I think green tractors have gotten shittier since about 2005 or so.
Don't rule out new holland and case.
Pretty sure that all sounded pretty hetero.

I don't know much about any dealers down there.
We got a ~62 HP Kubota last year with a cab to do what you are talking about. It has worked fine for two seasons.

I will say that I miss the old, uncomplicated tractors. Everything is all electronic now. Not like the tractors that Sportin's PeePaw owned.

I know it’s a haul for you however, call Blanchard equipment in ridge spring, formerly Derrick equipment. They get peach leases back in about a month. They will have roughly 100 hours on them. Most of them will be 5075e. They will give you a used price with a 4 year warranty and change all the fluids. Basically it’s puchasing a used tractor with all the things you get with puchasing a new tractor. Financing is like purchasing a new tractor as well. I will be shocked if it does not beat a new orange tractor in the same class. It beat it by a lot when we purchased. We got the front end loader added to it as well.

It would be like buying a demo truck. Someone else payed the new price but 100 hours ain’t shit.

I bought New Holland in the 75hp size. Geared.

    I'd do it 100x.

To hell with those light ass orange tractors.

Our geared Kioti has been wonderful for same uses. Only thing I don't like the small bucket compared to the older tractors. It is light but rides like a dream.

Stop even specifying "geared" like it's a choice. Fuck that yard toy noise for food plots

    Get a cab, period.

My 75 hp JD with 10 ft disc, front end loader, and 7 ft heavy duty cutter work well.

Unless it’s changed since 2010 our jd 5075E has zero plastic.

Shoot for a pre 05ish JD, as suggested. More gears the better. You’re fine with standard lift capacity and rear ends. Kubota makes a fine sub-60 hp tractor. Case = New Holland. Ag tires only. Don’t irrigate from the river.
