Been quiet for a bit so here is another 6.0 problem that I’ve only seen one other time. Truck came in and complaint was it stalled and wouldn’t re-start. Well that’s not unusual right? Put the scan tool on it and only reading 280 psi on high pressure oil side. Needs to be 750 or so to start being happy. Threw an IPR valve at it and no go. Pulled valve put air fitting in and cranked the shop air up and connected to fitting. You could hear the air pouring in passenger side valve cover. So we are thinking stand pipe... tear it down and it’s not the stand pipe. I’m thinking it’s the branch tube where the stand pipe connects.

The branch pipe in question

$3200.00 later, the culprit. Hair line crack causing it to “bleed” pressure.
