    Default GoDevil FNR 40EFI

Anybody run one? I am looking to upgrade my straight drive 37efi to the FNR model. Trying to get some input.

My brother has one ordered, with new GDSD boat as well (hunt deck). He mentioned Coco would not sell, or discourages, FNR motor on older model, low transom, surface drive boat.

It's nice. I wouldn't spend a bunch of extra money if I had a working setup currently but if I were buying new I'd splurge to get reverse. Not a huge game changer in my opinion.

Its not unless you get a pro drive. Dann prodrive will go further in reverse than foward

I got my boat/motor from Nab, love the setup just not a fan of doing 79 circles to pick up decoys. I hear the 40 totes a load pretty well too.

A buddy has one on a War Eagle Gladiator. Seems to perform well on it and the reverse works fine.
